Would you say you read about the same amount now as when you were younger? More? Less? Why?
I definitely read more now than I did! Growing up, it was TV shows and movies that loved and I barely picked up a book on my own accord.
Even required reading in school was hard for me to get through, but usually it was because I didn't like I was put on a specific time frame and in that sense I was never able to enjoy many of them. I've probably only completely read a handful of required reading throughout my school years.
It probably wasn't until the first Harry Potter book came out that I started reading... granted it was mainly Harry Potter up until the last book, but you know they were worth it.
Earlier this year I challenged myself to read 20 books for the year as part of goodreads' 2011 reading challenge. Casual reading to you, but I couldn't even remember 20 books I've read period. Thankfully, I did reach my goal and I'm really happy that I caught the reading bug.
